어떻게 쓰나요?

VD Browser 앱에서 영상이 있는 페이지를 열어요.
도구막대의 받기 버튼에 숫자가 뜨면 눌러요.
영상과 화질을 고르고 받기를 누르면 보관함에서 받아요. 다 받으면 사진 앱·갤러리에 저장돼요(설정에서 끌 수 있어요).

왜 YouTube나 Instagram 같은 곳의 영상은 안 되나요?

저작권과 서비스 약관, 앱 스토어 정책을 지키려고 동영상 플랫폼, SNS, 스트리밍·음악 서비스의 영상은 받지 않아요. 이런 사이트에서는 받기 버튼 자리에 "이 사이트는 지원하지 않아요"가 떠요. 전체 목록은 앱의 설정 › 지원하지 않는 사이트에 있어요.

영상이 목록에 안 보여요

영상을 한 번 재생하면 대부분 찾아요. 영상을 조각내서 보내는 사이트(MSE)와 DRM으로 보호된 영상은 받을 수 없어요.

받은 영상은 어디에 있나요?

앱의 보관함에 있어요. iPhone·iPad는 파일 앱 › 나의 iPhone › VD Browser와 사진 앱에, Android는 갤러리의 Movies/VD Browser 폴더에도 저장돼요.

로그인해야 보이는 영상도 받을 수 있나요?

네. 앱 안 브라우저에서 로그인하면 그 상태 그대로 받아요. 그 사이트의 쿠키는 영상 서버에만 함께 보내고 기록에 남기지 않아요. 로그인 영상 데모에서 확인해 볼 수 있어요.

받다가 멈춰요

연결을 확인하고 보관함에서 다시 시도를 눌러 주세요. 셀룰러에서 받기를 꺼 두었다면 Wi-Fi에서만 받아요. 주소가 만료된 영상은 페이지를 새로고침한 뒤 다시 받아 주세요.

How do I use it?

Open a page with a video in VD Browser. When a number appears on the Download button in the toolbar, tap it, choose the video and quality, and tap Download. It downloads in the Library and, when finished, saves to Photos or your gallery (you can turn this off in Settings). Try it on the demo page.

Why don't YouTube, Instagram and similar sites work?

To respect copyright, terms of service and app store policies, VD Browser doesn't download from video platforms, social networks, or streaming and music services. On those sites you'll see "This site isn't supported". The full list is in Settings › Unsupported sites.

A video isn't listed

Play the video once; that usually lets the app find it. Videos streamed in pieces (MSE) and DRM-protected videos can't be saved.

Where are my downloads?

In the app's Library. On iPhone and iPad they're also in Files › On My iPhone › VD Browser and in Photos; on Android, in the gallery's Movies/VD Browser folder.

Can I download videos that need a sign-in?

Yes. Sign in within the app's browser and download as usual. That site's cookies are sent only to its video server and aren't saved in the history. Try the sign-in demo.

A download stopped

Check your connection and tap Retry in the Library. If cellular downloads are off, downloads continue only on Wi-Fi. If a video address expired, reload the page and download again.
